The final casualty figures were 1201 men, women and children dead out of a total of 1962 persons onboard.
The official figures of 1959 persons aboard and 1198 dead, obviously do not include the three Germans who were locked in the
most comfortable cells now at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
To divide the figures again, of the 159 Americans on board, 128 had perished and of the 129 children aboard the Lusitania,
ninety-four perished.
Included in that figure were thirty-one infants out of a total of thirty-five on board. Only four were saved.

Laura has recently discovered that there are more surviving passenger lists for the Lusitania on the Ellis Island website.

Laura was researching a Mr George Hendee, a regular transatlantic traveller, a snd she found that the fourth entry under his
name shows a voyage on the Lusitania.

KNOWN TO EXIST IN ENGLAND IS THAT FOR THE FINAL VOYAGE.

Liverpool historian Kevin Roach. The usual format for such a list
would be Passengers first, by Class, followed by Crew.
Using the list from our book as a basis, Kevin has compiled a
purely alphabetical list of ALL those aboard the Lusitania for her
final voyage. Where known, Kevin has included each person's
address, if they had a connection with Liverpool.
